Where It All Started ⛳️
Mastering the craft of animation has been my top priority for the past five years. I’ve dedicated myself to learning from mentors who’ve worked at studios like DreamWorks, Disney, and many others, going all in by reinvesting every penny I earned to get closer to the people I admire. These industry veterans not only shared their animation knowledge with me, but also their life experiences, which deeply shaped my mindset and work ethic. A big part of who I am today comes from the challenges they pushed me through and the inspiration they gave me along the way.
personal work ✏️
This reel showcases a selection of my work as an independent 2D animator, featuring projects across both traditional and digital mediums. It includes personal short films as well as freelance work completed in collaboration with studios and creative teams. Each piece reflects my passion for expressive storytelling, strong posing, and cartoony animation style.
Building Worlds 🌎
Right now, I’m building two worlds at the same time:
One is the cartoon world where my short films live, and the other is my personal world, how I experience the process of creating animated shorts in the super cartoony style I’ve always loved.
Each project is a new challenge that pushes my problem-solving skills. You’ll even see moments where I shift direction midway through the project, maybe changing the art style or approach, just because I felt like it. And here’s the best part…
I’m not doing it alone… 👇
Jamming With Friends 🎸
Working with a team makes the entire animation process so much more enjoyable, which is exactly why I’ve built a network of amazing artists and friends in the animation industry to collaborate on awesome projects together.
I always compare animation to music: if making short films is like writing songs, then teaming up with other cool artists is like jamming. It just makes everything more fun and creatively energizing.
Plus, I get to grab fun screenshots like this one while we’re working and chatting together!
Follow the Journey 🗺️
By the way, I’ve also been sharing some of the amazing behind-the-scenes conversations I have with my team on social media. From how we learn from each other, to how we give constructive feedback (without killing each other 😂), and most importantly, how we all share the same passion and love for what we do.
